When ever we take Housing Loan or Any Loan in a bank, we need interest certificate to claim Income Tax Returns or any purpose. So to get this repayment of installments certificate we usually go to bank and apply for Interest certificate by filling an application form.
But now you need not go to your bank, Just follow these simple steps by using your Internet Banking.
Steps to Download Loan interest certificate in SBI:
Step 1:
First you need to log in your internet banking account with your username and password. Next, go to e-services tab which was located top-right corner.
By going to the e-services section you will get various options.
Step 2:
In that options, you need to select the Certificates option.
Step 3:
Next you will get following options.
- Home Loan Interest Certificate(prov) – means Provisional
- Home Loan Interest Certificate
- Int. Certificate on NRI deposits.
- int. certificate on SB A/C.
- Education Loan Interest Certificate.
In the above options you need to select first one only , that means
Home Loan Interest Certificate(prov) . Then only you will get current year certificate.
Step 4:
Next you will get list of all your loan accounts. In those list, you need to select your desired loan account and press submit.
That’s it . Now you will get your desired Interest Certificate of Housing Loan or any Loan. Hope you understand this procedure to get housing loan interest certificate with out going bank.
